A New Line of SIP (Structural Insulated Panels)

SIPStar ® Industrial Building Panels, 6 1/2" thick, provide an economical exterior wall and roofing/structural building system, ready to erect and fasten directly and rapidly onto pre-engineered structural steel framing purlins on the jobsite, without additional field preparation or delay.

SIPStar ® Panels are available as (standard) 8’0 ” wide x 24’0 ” long x 6 1/2" thick. prefabricated, insulated units. These are made up of a 5 1/2" thick.core of dense, EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam insulation, permanently bonded to a glass fiber mat on each surface and finish-bonded with a 1/2" thick structural layer of Starcrete®, a hard, ceramic-cement-layer wearing surface on each face of the completed panel.

The double-density foam core and glass fiber mat reinforcing combine to provide a very high insulation “R” value, while the bonded Starcrete® ceramic-cement-layer wearing surfaces contribute even further to the system’s superior insulating, wearing and weathering values, along with UL® tested,and certified heat and fire resistance,rigidity,very high compressive strength, and great dimensional stability,with almost no coefficient of expansion.Field-applied finishes may include painting, stucco, or sprayed-on vitreous coatings.

SIPStar® Panels are shop-manufactured to rigidly controlled standards, using a combination of structural materials, which exclude exposed combustibles, to provide permanent protection from termites, carpenter ants, rodents, or any of the other natural risks of intrusion or infestation.
